My daughter took me here on Saturday for Father's Day. I had not been there for several years. Evidently, the business was sold three years ago and has undergone a complete renovation under new ownership. I dont know whether the rooms were done as well, but there is a new dining room and bar. The original dining room is still functional as well. We had the seafood Alfredo and ribeye. The Alfredo had ample scallops, shrimp and lobster. It was served in a creamy sauce with pasta, although the sauce seemed a little underwhelming. The ribeye was excellent and cooked perfectly along with the potatoes and steamed vegetables. The salad and homemade bread were an added treat. It was a wonderful dinner in the new dining room. We were too full to have dessert, but the selection looked tempting. Our server was excellent. If you are visiting Bar Harbor, it is worth the trip over to the Crocker House.

We ate dinner. The food was delicious. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. It was 98. Too hot for outside seating and the inside dining room had limited air conditioning. Good pour on my drink! Will go again when it's cooler to better enjoy the restaurant and surrounding sights

I have never been treated better by staff than at this place. The food was fantastic and the drinks were excellent in a great corner of the world.

My fiance booked a room for a 1 night stay, I wish we had booked more! Amazing experience, the staff was incredible, room was adorable & the food was 10/10. We had dinner and their breakfast. Both were some of the best meals we have had our entire vacation. Especially the breakfast, we really didn't know what to expect and were blow away (and full)! Thank you to all the staff! You really made our trip!!

The restaurant was one of our best finds, so much that we came here twice this week for dinner because the food was so exquisite. The dinner starts with the most wonderful homemade baked bread and butter and amazing housemade salad dressing for the salad. The oysters and the crab cakes were excellent. Every dish we enjoyed was incredible with healthy portions. The steaks were among the best we ever had and cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Ribeye was flavorful and Filet was very tender, both with perfect steak crusts. The chef has been cooking their steaks for 30 years, and we just did not expect to have such a gourmet meal all the way out here. The Seafood pasta was full of seafood and enough for a 2nd meal. We never made it to dessert as much as we wanted to try it. The service was very accomodating when we walked in without a reservation. Everyone was friendly from the manager to the hostess and our servers. The dining environment and restrooms were neat and clean. The prices were very reasonable for everything received. We have spent far more for far less around here, and dining here is a must should we ever return to the area.

Super cute upscale interior & fantastic simple-but-classic menu. We had hands down the MOST perfectly breaded and fried calamari I have ever eaten in my entire life, as well as the most delicately cooked (poached then light pan sear, how?!). Need to know secret ingredient in the crab spinach and artichoke dip— lemon and horseradish..? Would return for just these two menu items. Oysters rock are sweet and tasted heavily of Pernod. Entree price points are around 50, so a meal for two here with a round or two of drinks and two apps will easily set you back 250-300 with tip FYI, which is just around what you’d pay for a inventive meal or tasting menu with wine paring at a top restaurant in a major city. But with a classic no-surprises menu that suits the Hancock point summer crowd and palettes of retirees and locals alike. For the quality of meal, I’d say this is somewhat warranted but the quality of ingredients even just the lettuce in the salad was fantastic, and I understand what type of clientele they are trying to attract, retain and not attract for that matter. Meal was good and service knowledgeable, friendly, authentic but later painfully slow as dining room filled. However we would 100% return.

Bob Noddin and his team are bringing something truly special to the Schoodic area. Expect a creative and delicious food and beverage program, impeccable service and hospitality, and clean, well-run lodging. The location is ideal for day trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park or for venturing up Route 1 to Machias and beyond. You’re also just minutes from the Schoodic section of Acadia and the charming town of Winter Harbor.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Josh and his employees are very nice and friendly. Location is peaceful and quiet. Rooms are kept up very nice and unique in their own way. Could use a few more electrical outlets in the rooms, but do cover that with electrical strips. The food here is the best we have had in all our travels, with generous portions. Josh and the other chefs are amazing. We are from Kansas and come back here every few years just to come to Crocker House Inn.
